When infected with Dengue fever in Jan 2009 and suffered from every possible joint in the body being inflamed, well wishers suggested that I drink a few teaspoons of tender Paw Paw Leaf juice and I did. It did help.
It was only a week ago a friend mentioned about seeing something on "Paw Paw Man" on Seven To Night. I Googled Paw Paw man and am fascinated by a few articles I have read so far and have decided to blog the lot for the benefit of people all over the world with ailments who could contact the Paw Paw Man seeking cures.

12 - The 'Pawpaw Man' embarks on humanitarian mission to Chile - Seeking Media

Tom McArthur, also referred to as the "Pawpaw Man" from his television appearances, has recently visited Chile as part of a humanitarian visit to help the poor and underprivileged.

Since witnessing villagers use natural medicines, namely pawpaw, to heal their wounds in Borneo in the 1960's, Tom has dedicated his life to helping others through his natural pawpaw products that he calls "liquid gold".

Tom and other members of the McArthur Natural Products team travelled to the region of Molina, where a 50 bed hospital (Hermanas del buen Samaritana) is currently holding over 350 predominantly elderly and poor patients.

All equipment at the hospital is donated and Tom stated the nuns and nurses are "the best I have seen throughout the world in getting results with the basic equipment they have on hand. The chronic overcrowding meant that every single passageway was two deep with beds. The hospital was kept spotless."

One of the highlights of the trip was to experience the dedication, love and hard work from the Sisters overseen by Mother Irene who live by the motto "There is no joy greater than to serve the poor men with love". Their devotion to helping the poor and underprivileged was an ongoing inspiration to Tom and the rest of the McArthur Natural Products' team.

This community spirit extended into the night with a strong bond forged between the Sisters and the volunteers from Australia. Many nights were spent recounting the day's events and dancing and singing in the courtyard long into the evening.

The result from the use of our products was profound. One man, Victor saw such a remarkable improvement that he quoted to Tom "Angels from heaven came with the cream". It was this sort of experience that led Tom to describe the trip as "life changing".

To continue to help, Tom has committed to donating for life, all the McArthur Natural Products needed at the hospital. The appreciation from Mother Irene was symbolised by her gift to Tom of rosary beads blessed by the Pope himself.

About Tom:

"My love of experimenting with lotions and potions began in the 60s in the jungles of Borneo serving in the British army. I witnessed the villagers using natural medicines, namely pawpaw, to heal their wounds. I started thinking, if we could unlock the liquid gold out of this one we'd be on a winner, we could help a lot of people. Lynda and I proceeded to produce and incorporate modified pawpaw extracts into natural products. " Tom McArthur (The Pawpaw Man)
